Heresafe Enters a New Chapter as Daryl Greensill Appointed CEO

July 2026 marked a significant milestone for Heresafe, as co-founder and Technical Director Daryl Greensill became CEO following Managing Director Phil Atkinson’s move into semi-retirement. 

Daryl becoming CEO is both a natural continuation and an exciting new beginning for Heresafe.  As someone who has helped build both the business and its technology, he understands the work behind Heresafe, the people who deliver it and the clients who rely on it.  His move from Technical Director to CEO brings that understanding into the wider direction of the company, keeping product development, team expertise and client needs closely connected as Heresafe grows.

Looking ahead, Daryl said: “Becoming CEO is a proud moment for me, but what matters most is what comes next. Heresafe has strong foundatons, no shortage of ideas and plenty of opportunity ahead.  I’m looking forward to setting a clear direction, creating room for the best ideas to develop and making sure the team has everything they need to deliver them.” 

The team is thrilled to see Daryl step into the role and eager to build on everything they have already achieved together.  Clients can expect the same experienced people, trusted relationships and dedicated support, with renewed ambition to keep listening, improving the products and raising the bar on workplace safety.

This next chapter builds on the foundations Phil and Daryl created together.  They established Target Information Systems Limited in 2010, developing the Accord contract management system before launching Verature Contractor Management System in 2017.  In 2025, the company and platform rebranded as Heresafe, bringing everything together under one clear mission: to create safer workplaces for everyone.

Phil put as much care into supporting his team as he did into growing the business, shaping a culture built on hard work, listening to clients and earning their trust. That influence lives on in the team’s continued client-focused product improvements and commitment to genuine, long-term partnerships.  For all of that, and so much more, everyone at Heresafe thanks Phil for his leadership, friendship and support, and wishes him every happiness as he begins semi-retirement.
